Testimonials
A well-written, personal account of an interesting life journey--truthful, spiritual, filled with godly examples and parenting guidance. Bringing up Aysha... reveals a life of blessings accepted with gratitude and challenges met with steadfast faith in the promises of God. Good writing by a good man.
I am privileged to be acquainted with this author. As I read the book I could see this man doing the acts of kindness and speaking the words he has written therein. I’m sure he wasn’t a perfect parent as none of us are perfect. Aysha was truly loved and indulged, by all evidences of the words written by the father and by Aysha herself in this book, as she was raised by these Christian parents. If you have compulsive behaviors, you might recognize some of your own while reading. I pray there will be another book written about the reuniting of this father with Aysha and his grandchildren. I truly enjoyed this read.
Bringing Up Aysha, the Daughter of My Elder Care Years is a deeply touching and beautifully written story that captures the unexpected joys and challenges of caregiving later in life. The author does a wonderful job weaving together themes of love, resilience, and personal growth, making it a truly memorable read. What stands out most is how genuine and heartfelt the storytelling feels. The relationship with Aysha unfolds in a way that is both tender and realistic, showing not only the rewarding moments but also the emotional complexity that comes with elder care and late-life responsibility. The narrative invites readers to reflect on their own relationships and the ways we nurture and are nurtured throughout different stages of life. The author’s voice is warm and engaging, making it easy to connect with the experiences being shared. There’s a quiet strength throughout the book that leaves a lasting impression, reminding us that purpose and connection can be found at any age. Overall, this is a wonderful book—uplifting, meaningful, and thoughtfully written. It’s a great read for anyone interested in stories about caregiving, family bonds, and finding unexpected blessings in life’s later chapters.
